Josiane M.H. Pozi and Cynthia Igbokwe first met on the dance floor sometime in 2019 while a mutual friend was DJing at the Tate. They’ve collaborated ever since, first on music videos for Klein, including MIKE’s “Ipari Park (ft. Klein)” (2022), and later on exhibitions and events.
For this event, Pozi and Igbokwe bring together six performers for an outdoor concert at Arts and Letters. The bill isn’t organized around a genre or scene—just community and a love of music in all its forms. Throughout the afternoon, Pozi will VJ live in response to each performance, before closing with a back-to-back DJ set with Igbokwe.
This concert is free and open to the public with RSVP. Reservations can be made here.
This event is organized by Noa Wesley, Assistant Curator, with Cynthia Igbokwe and Josiane M.H. Pozi. Support for this concert is provided by Carhartt WIP. Audio and Technical Production: C.A.V.E. Live Radio Broadcast: Montez Press Radio
