INVITATIONAL EXHIBITION OF VISUAL ARTS AT THE
AMERICAN ACADEMY OF ARTS AND LETTERS
MARCH 11 - APRIL 4, 2004
February 27, 2004 -- The work of 30 contemporary artists will be on view at the American Academy of Arts and Letters galleries on historic Audubon Terrace (Broadway between 155 and 156 Streets) from Thursday, March 11, through Sunday, April 4, 2004. The finalists were chosen from a pool of more than 190 contemporary artists nominated by the members of the Academy, one of America's most prestigious societies of architects, artists, writers, and composers. Work on view at the Academy will be eligible for $200,000 in cash prizes and purchases.
